It might refuse to load or save, because it thinks the save came from another PSP / play session. If you save in the game (or if it auto saves) and then you load a save state from before that save was created, the game may become flummoxed. Save states are, from the perspective of a game, a very futuristic time travel device.
Note that sometimes games have bugs - some even delete your save data depending on how much free space you have. Attempting to hack the savedata (or downloading hacked savedata). Is the save data corrupted?Ĭorrupted save data can cause crashes or glitches, and may not load. This is the same structure you'll see on a real PSP or in downloaded save data. Often, it might be ULUS1234501 when it's the "01" save for "ULUS12345". Games almost always have a separate folder inside SAVEDATA for each save, and it starts with their game id. If you're trying to load a save from a European game with a US game, it probably won't work. This might be something like ULUS12345.ĭifferent regions have different codes - and often create different save files. If you long press on a game, you should see the "game id" at the end of the title. The memstick is found in your "home" or "user" folder, inside ~/.config/ppsspp (you can select Go To and paste that path into the Finder or other file manager.) Do you have the right game? The memstick is just the same as your storage - it's meant to be just like the PSP. When PPSSPP can't create files next to the program (usually because it's in Program Files or something), it puts them inside My Documents.
If you extracted the zip somewhere in your Downloads or Desktop, the memory stick will be in "memstick" next to the PPSSPP program. Inside this folder, saves are usually in PSP -> SAVEDATA. They're always in the "memory stick" which is just a folder. I've reset over 300 games trying to get the best possible stats, but I would like to find if there is a way where I can directly change them as the perfect starting stats.Saves can be a few different places, depending on your platform and how PPSSPP is installed. If this tool cannot provide that I'm simply asking if there is a way I can access the save file to edit this info. I would prefer to be able to access these values to set myself to test and play with. This tells me the tool is using algorithms that are off in the math when setting values. If Ramza's raw hp is high and in game reads his hp value as 51, Lion editor will read the value as 52.
I cannot change the mp values from 10 to 11. Ramza can start with hp of 49-51 random (not sure about mp)ĭelita can start with hp of 49-53 random (not sure about mp) I want those values to be maxed within the rules of the game system.īuying/starting a character male will come as 43/44hp and 10/11mp randomly (37/38hp if chemist).īuying/starting a character female will come as 41/42hp and 10/11mp randomly (35/36hp if chemist).
I'm not sure if you're just trying to correct for different job growth over the course of your save file, but that level of control really isn't what most players would be using the Lion Editor for, especially if they're still in Chapter 1.Īnd for those 3 kinds of stats there are 5 raw stats.
The only exception is Ramza, who gets Female magic stats too. There are three kinds of starting stats: Male stats, Female stats, Monster stats. Quote from: Nyzer on November 28, 2020, 11:35:12 pmThat already happens, though.
